Kay Miller is the visionary behind LilyPads and lifelong humanitarian dedicated to advancing social justice and creating lasting change. As a passionate social justice advocate and strategic events coordinator, Kay has built a career focused on empowering disadvantaged populations and fostering community solidarity. Her work centers on advancing social equity, providing individuals with the resources and tools needed to make a meaningful impact in their own communities. As a community chef, Kay is passionately committed to addressing food insecurity and promoting education, using her skills to create spaces for dialogue, action, and impactful change. A proud mother and nature enthusiast, she finds inspiration in the natural world and believes in the transformative power of collective action. Through LilyPads, Kay continues to lead with purpose, working to strengthen communities and create a more equitable, connected world.
Morgan Dandie
Director, Administration and Government Affairs
Morgan Dandie is a skilled political ambassador with a deep commitment to community service through connection and care. Starting her entrepreneurial journey at age ten, she has spent over three decades building a career in customer service, including roles as an Administrative Professional and Medical Office Assistant. With experience across various industries, Morgan combines attention to detail with a focus on achieving desired outcomes, ensuring that every person and project receives thoughtful consideration. Whether navigating global challenges like production delays from natural disasters or helping patients secure critical medical referrals, Morgan thrives on solving problems with empathy. A passionate advocate for minority groups and a proud renter, Morgan continues to make an impact through her dedication to service and leadership.


John Leacock
Executive Director Marketing, Outreach and Partnerships
‘Big’ John Leacock is a certified international realtor who is actively involved in local Guelph arts, culture and establishment. With his diverse 19-year long career in real estate and decades of experience in community development, he has an aptitude for connecting people. He has previously served in many advisory roles such as with Family & Children’s Services G-W, and on several Boards including the City of Guelph’s Downtown Advisory Committee, Hillside Festival, and as a founding member of the Guelph Black Heritage Society. His experience with accessory dwelling units (ADUs) as well as infill land acquisitions and development allows him to bring a strategic viewpoint to matters of property management, and an innovative approach to alternative housing. John is dedicated to helping institute affordable, community-oriented housing in the City of Guelph.
JAMES MARSHALL
General Manager
An innovative leader with over 30 years of management experience, Jim Marshall has an eye for efficiency. As General Manager of Pacd Inc., Jim is applying the lessons learned during an award-winning career over 2 decades in the global auto sector with companies such as Toyota and Magna International. Jim has just under a decade of construction experience and has been with Pacd since its inception; a key player in streamlining our supply chain, building components and on-site processes for purpose built affordable units. Jim’s passion for innovation, building greener, healthier, high-quality homes using Pacd’s own manufacturing and assembly systems delivers a superior home.
